Meet Our Staff
PeakSpot's owner and founder, Amon, has 16 years of experience in tourism and guiding in Rwanda and Uganda. He is passionate about wildlife, nature, and people.
Benon joined PeakSpot in 2015 with a background in hospitality and guiding. Benon is our resident birding expert and enjoys leading neighborhood walks and wildlife tours in our area.
Alexis has been with PeakSpot since 2013 and comes to our family from the field of hospitality management. He is passionate about our guests and the customer experience. Alexis always goes above and beyond.
Silver, the PeakSpot chef, comes with a decade of culinary experience. He
received his training at the Kinigi Tourist Village in 2006 and since then has worked in a variety of hotels and guest-houses in Gisenyi, Kigali, and Musanze. Silver's newest passion is baking, and PeakSpot's breads are well known in the area.
Jean has been with PeakSpot since it’s inception in 2011 when PeakSpot was just a farm plot. He started as a porter for gorilla trekking and is now responsible for back of the house management.
Habib is the newest member of the PeakSpot family, and brings with him more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in luxury lodges in Kenya, Uganda, Ivory Coast, and Rwanda. He is an avid traveler and outdoorsman with a soft spot for local markets.
