The PeakSpot rests on six acres of pristinely manicured grounds on the edge of the Virunga Forest. The property is lush with local flora, attracting a wide array of local birds and other animals.

On the property sit five stone bungalows built in the local style with locally sourced materials (two single bungalows, two double bungalows, and one family cottage). Each bungalow has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet, hot and cold running water for showers, fresh linens and towels, and electrical outlets. The interiors feature brightly colored furnishings, textiles, and handicrafts in the local style, all of which are sourced locally and fairly from our village neighbors.

Tent camping is available in the gardens with the option to either rent a tent or bring your own. Guests with tent accommodation have access to flush toilets and showers.

All PeakSpot accommodations include a warm and nutritious breakfast, rich with local fruits and produce.

Designed and crafted using the best of local traditions and materials, The PeakSpot is committed to its neighbors, to it’s surrounding area, and to providing unmatched encounters with indigenous wildlife and flora. Guests have access to the fresh eucalyptus sauna, dining room fire-place, fully stocked bar and restaurant, and media center including TV, DVD, stereo, karaoke, and projector for reviewing the day’s photos or just relaxing by the fire.

Authenticity is key at The PeakSpot, where just one stay makes you a local.

The PeakSpot has expert wildlife guides on-site to help you plan your perfect holiday in Rwanda. Whatever adventure you are looking for, we can make it happen! The PeakSpot has two full-size safari vehicles and can arrange all tours and permits.
